UK Range Detail


Although still some six months from launch,  Peugeot is pleased to provide provisional UK specification details of RCZ.


Two levels – Sport and GT Three engines and 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic gearboxes
1.6 litre THP 156 bhp with choice of manual or automatic gearbox 1.6 litre THP 200 bhp with manual gearbox 2.0 litre HDi FAP 163 bhp with manual gearbox

RCZ Sport includes 18” alloy wheels, sports seats, dual zone air conditioning and rear parking aid 
RCZ GT includes 19” alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated and electric seats and front and rear
parking aid. 


A wide range of options will allow customers to ‘personalise’ their RCZ.

RCZ will be launched with THP 156 bhp six speed manual and the HDi 163 bhp engines. THP 200 bhp and the THP 156 bhp with automatic gearbox will follow shortly after launch, with expected availability July 2010.

The provisional pricing and specification sheet (issued by Peugeot Motor Co*) provides details of the planned UK range. It has been updated to reflect a VAT rate of 17.5%, as the pending increase in January 2010 will automatically apply to all orders for RCZ.

Production Timings.

It is anticipated that full RCZ production will commence in February 2010. Initial RCZ production will consist of three elements. The first of these will be the Pearlescent White European Limited Edition models. Alongside these, Dealer showroom and demonstrator stock will be produced. Further details of UK Dealer launch stock, which will include at least one showroom car and one demonstrator, will be communicated in due course.


The remaining capacity of the first production period will be devoted to ‘Priority Production.’ Priority Production will consist of 50 pre-specified versions of RCZ. For the UK this version will be a Nera Black RCZ GT with added options of smoked chrome aluminium arches, brilliant black front grill and brilliant black brake callipers. It is priced at £23,680 OTR including VAT at 17.5%. It should be noted that these cars are available for sold customer orders only and that as of today 19 of the 50 ‘Priority Production’ cars have been sold.

Although the opportunity to personalise specification is a key attribute of RCZ, the main advantage of the ‘Priority Production’ version will be the relatively early delivery of the vehicle. This option is therefore recommended for customers requiring the earliest possible delivery of RCZ.
